09 ferret barleylife

This is Rocks Ann, our Sable ferret. We adopted her from Brittmoore Animal Hospital (Houston, TX) back in 2007. She is 4 or 5 years old. We learned on July 13, 2009 that she has lymphoma when Dr. Rieman felt her lymph nodes and they were swollen. Rocks Ann has been on barley grass and a lymphatic cleanser since July 14, 2009. And today, October 9, 2009, she is still alive. The others before her went very quickly after their cancer was discovered. I wanted to conduct an experiment with the BarleyLife, to determine its power. Rocks Ann is thriving instead of dying. So far, so good. BarleyLife, in case you’re wondering, is a raw green juice concentrate that provides humans, as well as animals, optimum nutrition — chlorophyll, live enzymes, and potent antioxidants. All you do is mix it in water and suck it down — like Rocks Ann does in the attached video. And mind you, I’ve been giving her a very high dose and she just loves it. The ferret really wants to live. Enjoy the video.

Feeding Time at the Zoo (Ferret Style)

Great how to for making healthy ferret meals! I show you how I make each ferret their own special cocktail. You know from this video who owns who in this zoo! The 3 little fuzz-butts who reside here certainly hold all the cards! This is how I make dinner every night for them.

Ferret Smoothie

How to make a quick and simple ferret smoothie that is healthy for your ferrets! Remember; Ferrets are lactose intolerant!! Do NOT feed them diary products like milk and cheese or they WILL have diarrhoea!! Whiskas Cat’s Milk however is fine and is purposely designed for the safety of your little furries (yes for cat’s but it’s perfectly fine for ferrets too), it is designed in such a way it is LOW IN LACTOSE and high in calcium. This way your furry will be fine and will not suffer from horrible diarrhoea. WARNING: Do NOT attempt to make or serve human “smoothies” that contain fruit or vegetables, ferrets DO NOT eat fruit or veg what so ever in their diet. You disagree? Then why don’t you lift their upper lip and take a look at their teeth, see those canines? Yes, they are car-ni-vores. Ferrets are mustelids, ie strict carnivores, They are not meant to eat fruit & veg, are not designed in such a way to digest grains, fruit or veg that they can develop diseases in the pancreas. Remember this; ferrets will beg for anything, why? Because they will pretty much eat anything but as a ferret owner it is your responsibility to make that decision. So please take into consideration the safety of your furries first before your own selfish deeds because you could end up killing your ferret by feeding it the wrong diet as it will not get what it needs.
